Golf at Four Streams produced mixed results (Gary and Rip played brilliantly, with a sensational par chip-in from an impossible lie in the weeds high above the green on the 15th by Rip).  After a sensational send off meal, with a bottle of Jordon Cab last night, Gary and I flew down the highway to end up in Roanoke, about 250 miles covered.  Found a 2-bedroom suite at a Marriott Residence Inn.   Not a bad place actually.  We are now preparing to head out with enough time to tour a bit of the Blue Ridge Parkway before our initial meeting at the Cliffs.

Sitting at the Red Carpet Club with nothing better to do than to start a blog.  Who knows?  Maybe I'll catch on to this and become a famous blogger.  I'll work on it for awhile.  I expect comments from the gallery.
